Blong Moua

MADISON - Blong Moua passed away in Madison, Wisconsin on Sunday, August 12, 2012 at the age of 35. He was born on April 6, 1977 in Laos to Ge Moua and Neng Lor. Blong grew up in LaCrosse, Wisconsin and moved to Madison in 1993. He graduated from James Madison Memorial High School in 1995. After high school, he attended Madison Area Technical College where he received an Associate’s Degree in Accounting. He worked as a Skills Trainer for Empowerment Through Opportunities. Blong loved working on cars, loved fixing things, loved playing basketball and volleyball, loved to fish and most of all, loved spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his fiancé of 17 years Houa Yang. He loved his family dearly; the oldest of 7 kids, Soua, John, Tony, Yeng Chong, Cheen Zong, and Melissa; his second family (Houa Yang’s parents and siblings) Chong Tou Yang, Sia Xiong, Hnou, Ger, Ntau, Boa, Steven, and Denise along with nieces and nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Blong was a very loving, kind-hearted man who made time for anyone and everyone, day or night. He will forever be missed. Services will be held September 1 - September 3, 2012 at All Faiths Funeral Chapel, 4058 Lien Rd. in Madison, Wisconsin.
