Billie J. Allen

Janesville-Billie J. Allen, age 74, passed away July 9, 2010 at Beloit Memorial Hospital. She was born July 18, 1935 in Beloit, WI to Gilbert and Florence (Phen) McLain. She attended Beloit High School. On May 11, 1952 she married Kenneth Posey. They were blessed with four children; Pamela, Jonathan, Jean and Brenda. Billie enjoyed raising and showing quarter horses, her many pets and regular fishing trips in the area. She was devoted to watching “Animal Planet”. She worked at Freeman Shoe, cooked for Milton College and the Tiffany Inn. She owned BJ’s Corral Family Restaurant in Beloit. Billie later married Raymond Allen on May 7, 1987. Together they moved to Desoto, Wisconsin in 1989, living there for seventeen years. They most recently lived at Rock Vale in Janesville, Wisconsin. Billie is survived by her children, Pamela Sherman, of South Beloit, IL; Jon (Shelly) Posey of Arlington, TX; Jean (Larry) Flood of Beloit, WI; one brother, Llyle (Jean) McLain, of Milton, WI; seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, her lifetime friend Pat Helms, of Afton Township, WI; and other friends relatives and step children. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Raymond and one infant daughter Brenda Posey. A memorial gathering will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M on Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at the Rock Vale Clubhouse, 6219 South Hwy 51 in Janesville.
