OREGON – Beverly M. Kosinski, age 67 of Oregon, passed away at her home on Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2008. She was born Nov. 2, 1941 in Niles, Mich., the daughter of Ralph and Anna (Frucci) Bethke. Following graduation from New Glarus High School, she married Kenneth Blum and together they had four children. After Ken and Bev divorced, she moved to Madison. She later met Frank Kosinski, and they were married for 17 years. Bev was one of the first parking attendants for the University of Wisconsin, and later became supervisor of parking and transportation. She retired in 1998 from the University after 28 years of service. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family. Bev is survived by three children, Tracy (Paul) Howard, of McFarland, Sherry (Randy Dreger) Hare, of Brooklyn, and Anthony (Jean) Blum, of DeForest; seven grandchildren, Brett Beckwith, Aaron and Bryna Gill, Dakota Blaser, Tyler and Kyle Blum, and Kennedy Dreger; four brothers, Ralph (Leah) Bethke, Jr., Martin Bethke, John (Sue) Bethke, and Russell (Nancy) Bethke; a sister-in-law, Sue Bethke; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank; an infant son, Anthony J. Blum; her parents; and a brother, Charles Bethke. A memorial service will be held at ALL FAITHS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 4058 Lien Road, Madison, on Friday, Dec. 5, 2008 at 4 p.m. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday from 2 p.m. until the time of service.
