JANESVILLE – Betty Lou “Boop” Hubbell, age 60 of Janesville, passed away into the hands of the Lord on Saturday, May 8, 2010 at home surrounded by her family and friends. She was born October 18, 1949 in Cloquet, MN the daughter of Wilford and Emagene (Pauley) Norton. She graduated from Central High School in Duluth, MN. Betty married Steven Hubbell on Feb. 5, 1968 in Jacksonville, NC. Together they moved to Janesville from Duluth, MN in 1983. She worked for Kerry Ingredients as a lab tech. for 20 years. She later worked as vice president of quality assurance for Cup Pac in South Beloit. Betty is survived by her husband, Steve; 3 children, Jessica (Scott) Thome, of New Bern, NC, Kara (Rick) Addington, of Milwaukee, Jerome Anthony John Hubbell, of Janesville; 7 grandchildren that she loved dearly, Stephanie, Erika, Drew, Nicholas, Sara, Hunter, and Cole; 3 sisters, Sharon (Robert) McDannell, of Panama City, FL, Carlene (Glenn) Ware, of Holeyoke, MN, and Debbie (Scott) Herbst, of Indiana; 3 brothers, Bob Norton, Tim (Penny) Norton, and John (Sarah) Norton all of Minnesota; step-mother, Bev; Uncle Benny Pauley; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, especially Ron Koebler. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, Kenneth and Jim Norton; a nephew, Mark LeDoux; a granddaughter, Tabatha Kristine; and her best friend, Shirley Koebler. Funeral services will be held at the ALL FAITHS FUNERAL HOME, 1618 E. Racine St., Janesville on Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until the time of service.
