Betty Jane Sanders

Betty Jane Sanders “BJ”, formally of Charlotte, NC, passed away March 11, 2024, in Marshall, WI. Betty was born Nov. 18, 1927, the oldest daughter of Glenn and Esther Sanders.

She graduated from Portage High School in 1945. Betty was employed with Eastern Airlines, retiring in 1983. Later, she was employed with the Mecklenburg County Police retiring in1993.

Betty was a kind and generous sister, aunt, and friend. Betty is survived by sisters, Pat Johnson of Madison, WI, and Dixie Connors of Emeryville, CA; nieces, Shawn Connors, Lisa Connors, and Michele Cooper; and nephews, Dan Johnson and family and Mark Johnson and family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn and Esther Sanders; and brothers, Kenneth, LaVerne and Robert.

The family would like to thank Jonell Allen, Wellna Eury, Mirian Martin, Pat Devine, Maria Johnson, and care giver, Erica.

At Betty’s request, no services will be held.
