Betty J. Whiteside

Betty J. Whiteside, age 46, died unexpectedly on Monday, February 18, 2008. She was born on July 25, 1961 in Eau Claire, WI to Roy and Frances (nee Meyer) Whiteside. A lifelong Eau Claire resident, Betty had been employed at Finley Engineering and most recently, with Xcel Energy. Betty is survived by daughter: Jessica Whiteside of Eau Claire, WI; five sisters: Connie (Don) Holden of Menomonie, WI, Roylene (Craig) Garrett of Madison, WI, Sue (Don) Anderson of Stanley, WI, Ruthann (Joe) Tarbox of Chippewa Falls, WI and Ann (Dave) Schmitt of Granton, WI; and her longtime, special friend: Patrick Fitch of Eau Claire, WI. Further survived by other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; a brother-in-law: Paul Sommer; and two nephews: Jeremy Schmitt and Luke Holden. Funeral services will be held 7:00 PM, Friday, February 22, 2008 at St. James the Greater Catholic Church, 2205 11th Street, Eau Claire. Private interment will be held in Calvary Cemetery.
