Barbara F. Bish

MADISON – Barbara F. Bish, age 93, passed away on April 30, 2008 after contending many years with Alzheimer’s disease. She was born in Oconto, Wis., on April 10, 1915. After completing her education at the University of Wisconsin, she taught home economics in Appleton and Hilbert high schools. Barbara was known for her cooking and baking. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, playing bridge, swimming and beach combing. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert A. Bish and her daughter Ellen. Barbara is survived by her sons, Robert N. and W. Ray Bish, who miss her greatly. A service to remember Barbara will be held at a later date.
