Arnold Frank Gruber

MADISON – Arnold Frank Gruber, age 81 of Madison and formerly of Markesan, passed away at Chamomile Assisted Living in Madison on Monday, Sept. 23, 2019. Arnold was born in Dalton, Wis., on Aug. 11, 1938, the son of Emil and Leona Gruber. He worked at Del Monte Foods in Markesan for 31 years before retiring and moving to Madison. Arnold is survived by his wife, Mary Lueck; four children, Susan Peterson, Diane Persack, Tom Gruber and Loriann (Russ) Lentz; five grandchildren, Jamie (Sean), Christopher, Joseph (Maria), Misty (Kevin) and Nicole; five great-grandchildren, Chase, Brennen, Damien, Jule and Blaine; a sister, Margaret (William) Kikendall; two step-sons, Ryan (Erin) Lueck and Bryan (Jessa) Lueck; special friends, Susan Klawitter, Randy and Judy Schulz, and Betty Weber; and several nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; and a sister. Private services were held Sunday, Sept. 29, 2019 at Richmond Hills Estates.
