Arlyce "Ardie" Cordell Manser

Arlyce “Ardie” Cordell Manser, born October 8, 1927, peacefully passed away on September 9, 2010 with her three children by her side at HospiceCare. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Len Manser. She is survived by her two daughters’ Patti Roberts (Keenan), Jan Manser (Dave Manion) and one son, Steven Manser (Shelly), and her five beloved grandchildren: Jesse, Angela, Matthew, Jacob, and Grant. Arlyce grew up in Clintonville, WI and raised her children in Wausau, WI. She worked as a secretary, teacher’s aide, and store manager. Once retired she and her husband traveled in their RV throughout the U.S. for 15 years. She claimed it was the best years of her life. Once off the road they settled in Homosassa, FL where she enjoyed the ocean, friends, line-dancing and painting. When her husband passed away she relocated to be closer to her children in Middleton, WI. She lived at the Attic Angel Place. Throughout Ardie’s life she unconditionally loved her family and was devoted to her Christian faith. Ardie was a lover of life with a great sense of humor; she was game for anything. She was artistically talented, loved dogs, music and dancing. Her generosity and selflessness made the world a better place. All who were touched by her beautiful spirit were richly blessed. A memorial service will be held in Clintonville, WI at a later date. Ardie’s children would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the Haven staff for their professionalism in caring for their mother.
