Arlene A. Thompson

STOUGHTON – Arlene A. Thompson, age 73 of Stoughton, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2006, surrounded by her family members. She was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Stoughton. She retired from St. Marys Hospital Dietary services after 15 years of service. She enjoyed watching her Green Bay Packers win games. She spent her retirement time quilting, traveling, a little gambling, and relaxing putting puzzles together. Arlene is survived by five children, Suzanne (Dennis) Short, David Beil, Phyllis Bishop, Carol Beil and Maxine Gray; five grandchildren; 2 brothers, Eugene (Diane) Durkee and Kenneth (Margaret) Durkee; two sisters-in-law, Patricia Durkee and Carol Bell; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Anna and Leslie Durkee; a brother, Donald; a son-in-law, George; and a daughter, Georgia. She will be missed. Funeral services will be held at ST. ANN CATHOLIC CHURCH, 323 N. Van Buren St., Stoughton on Monday, Dec. 18, 2006 at 1 p.m. with Msgr. Gerard Healy officiating. Friends may call at the church on Monday from 11 a.m. until the time of service. A memorial lunch will follow the services at the church.
