MADISON - Anne Louise Edwards Fulton, age 96, died peacefully on Aug. 31, 2014, surrounded by her loving family. Anne grew up in Beijing, China, graduated from Mount Holyoke College in 1939 and received her Masters of Public Health from Yale University in 1946. Anne was a researcher and professor, a world traveler and wonderful mother and grandmother. She was respected and loved by all who knew her. Anne found community in church, and was a long-time leader in the United Methodist Women in Fairfield, Iowa and Madison, Wis. Her extensive volunteer involvement centered around issues of social justice and equality. Anne was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Brank Fulton. She is survived by her five children, William (Jeffrey Duber), Mary (Steven Koslov), Cathay (Robert Ericksen), Elizabeth (Mitchell Fisher), and Sarah (Ronald Teunissen van Manen); her grandchildren, Rebecca Koslov (Joshua Fazzan), David Koslov, Kathryn Koslov, Ian Teunissen van Manen, and Lia Teunissen van Manen; and her great-grandson, Korben Fazzan. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial donations can be made to St. Marys Care Center in Madison (St. Marys Care Activities Endowment Fund, St. Marys Foundation, 700 S. Park Street, Madison, WI 53715), United Methodist Women (For National and International Programming, 475 Riverside Drive, #1503, New York, NY 10115), or Agrace HospiceCare (Agrace HospiceCare, 5395 E. Cheryl Parkway, Madison, WI 53711). The memorial service date will be announced.
