Jesse T. Gallagher

LOWELL – Jesse T. Gallagher, age 30, of Lowell, Wis., passed away peacefully on February 7, 2024, at home. He was born on March 7, 1993, in Madison, Wis., the son of Alice (Smith) Gallagher and the late, Kurt Gallagher. He graduated from LaFollette High School in 2011, with the mission of proving his teachers wrong; He could make a living looking out a window. Jesse worked as an over-the-road truck driver, most recently for Magsamen Trucking, and several positions within the monster truck industry.

Jesse loved to travel, ride his Harley, captain his boat, and get his hands dirty with his monster truck family. Jesse had a big heart and helping hands while providing comic relief to everyone he touched in his life’s journeys.

Jesse is survived by his mother, Alice Smith and stepfather, Dale Wingers, Columbus, Wis.; sisters, Sheila Theis and Cassie Gallagher, Madison, Wis.; girlfriend, Kathy; stepsisters, Andrea (Lee) Skrupky, Minnesota, Rachel (Matt) Cole, Tennessee, and stepbrother, Brent (Caitlin) Wingers, Columbus; his grandmother, Cecelia (Reuille) Hauptman, Columbus, Wis.; uncles, Lester (Hannah) Smith, Texas, Alva (Myrna) Smith, Wisconsin Dells, and Dan (Beth) Gallagher, Pardeeville; aunts, Susan Smith, Chicago, Cheryl (Gerry) Hauser, Sun Prairie, and Julie Gallagher, Madison; as well as numerous cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Kurt Gallagher; his grandparents, Leo and Donna Gallagher, and Lester Smith; his aunt, Cathy Murray; and his cousins, Nancy Oberleitner and Daniel Smith.

A memorial gathering will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with a service at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 9, 2024, at ALL FAITHS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 4058 Lien Rd., Madison, followed by a Celebration of Jesse’s Life at the CAPITAL CITY RIDERS CLUBHOUSE, 1313 Parkside Dr., Madison.
